A basic egg cleansing is something everyone can do to absorb negativity and remove impurities from their life. Eggs have been used for cleansing in many parts of the world. Eggs that come
from black chickens are used when witchcraft is involved. Eggs from white chickens are used for general cleansings, and brown eggs are all purpose.
Fill a clean clear glass with regular tap water or for a little more power, Blessed Peace Water and add a little Protection Oil. Light a white candle. For a basic cleansing use a cold plain
white egg. A cold egg absorbs negative energy better than one at room temperature. Place the egg on the top of the head and recite a prayer or chant of your tradition. Roll the egg down the back of the head, back of the neck, the center of the back and around to the chest, then continue downward across the open palms and then over the soles of the feet. Always move the egg in a
downward motion, never up. You can also begin at the top of the head and make spiraling motions around the body in a downward motion. Then break the egg into the glass of water, checking for abnormalities such as color, blood, shape and texture.
Some basic interpretations:
If the water smells bad with blood present, this is a sign of evil work being done.
If there are blood spots in the water, this is a sign of bad luck and harm being caused by strong spellwork especially if the water is murky.
If the water turns murky with no smell or blood, this is a sign of susto (soul loss) as long as there is no blood present.
If the yolk of the egg has the shape of a face, this is a sign of an enemy. A thin face indicates a male enemy, a round face indicates a female enemy.
If the yolk is in the shape of an eye, this is a sign of the evil eye.
If there are small bubbles in the water, this is a sign that the negative energy was absorbed by guardian spirits.
If the water is clear, with no abnormal shapes, smells or blood, this is a sign that nothing unnatural is happening.

Abundance checks are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon. Surprisingly, you really don’t even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.
There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way -the results will be the same, more abundance for you.
How To Write Your Abundance Check:
1. Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where it says “Pay to,” write your name.
2. In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”
3. On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.” [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]
4. Sign the check: “The Law of Abundance”
Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.
Container Spells, Jar Spells, and Bottle Spells are a long standing custom in Hoodoo, Southern Rootwork and Folk Magic Practices. The art of combining and containing the essence of magical herbs, roots, and curios into a perfect mixture is a powerful way to achieve ones desires and intentions. Traditionally made from old medicine bottles or mason jars these conjure containers can be decorated and painted to represent the condition or deity that is invoked. Hot sauce bottles may be used for an old-school hot footing jar to drive someone away or an antique honey jar can be used for sweetening love work. When the bottle is ready, with all its herbs and décor, it is then sealed with wax or tied with string to reflect the intention that you are “sealing the deal.” Bottles and jars that are fixed and blessed may be used on an altar or used to contain the actions of an enemy. The earliest spells bottles were historically called “witch bottles.” Many times these blessed bottles were buried under doorsteps or placed in a secret location within the home to keep away evil. Empty blue glass “witch” bottles were hung on trees to protect from the evil eye. Many hoodoo doctors would also burn a candle affixed to the lid of the jar to add power and petition to the spell. Containers spell work is incredibly adaptive and can be used for pretty much any situation.
A powerful woman. Why does this sentence bring such fear and disgust to the minds of some people? A powerful woman. That sentence is often followed by the word Bitch. Why are women still being told in 2017 that they can't do this or that? Keeping women from authority and leadership I believe comes from the western Christian writings undermining the female spiritual power. Because of male dominance, especially in the west, women of power have been demonized, dehumanized and disdained. The roles of women of power have been distorted and edited out of history. Women of all cultures are now beginning to take back their power and seek out the balance of nature. I have been told on many occasions over the years that I couldn't do a lot of things simply because of being a woman. I have been told that the world had no place for strong, powerful spiritual women. I disagree with both of these statements and have proven both statements wrong time and again. I have been called many things over the years such as disrespectful, invalid, a fraud. But more importantly I have also been called strong, innovative, powerful and spiritual. And those words are what make me who I am. I have been known to step outside the box. I have been known to step outside tradition. I do these things NOT out of disrespect nor to cause controversy. I do these things out of a deeply rooted belief that we as women have the ancient right to achieve spiritual growth and leadership. I do not believe that spirituality or divine help belongs to a select chosen few, nor do I believe a select chosen few have the right to dictate the spiritual growth of others. To say that any group of people can be excluded and denied a spiritual path is a violation of basic human rights. To say that women have less spiritual power than men is to deny the sacredness of life its self. Women are both the caretakers and the warriors of life. The divine female power rules both life and death. Whenever the divine female power is not valued or given respect and equality, the balance of sacredness becomes lost in a power struggle. Women have been the keepers of the spiritual flame since the beginning of time. We are the healers, the teachers, the keepers of mysteries and the givers of life. As women we must always strive for peace and love while maintaining our warrior spirit. As a modern society, we need to bring forward once again the ancient ways of seeing and believing in the truth of the female divine. As women in a modern society we need to stand strong inside the roots of our power. I am female, I am powerful, I am spiritual and no one has the authority nor the right to take that away or try to invalidate it. I work with my spirits for the good of all. We all have a purpose and a voice in this life. I believe positive change with added modern elements keeps balance and harmony. I want to remove any barriers that keep those who come to me with problems from living their best spiritual life. I wake every morning secure in the knowledge that I am living my best spiritual life. I ask all women to stand strong, stand spiritual and most of all stand up for the goddess in all of us.
What makes an Elder or a Spiritual leader in any religion or lineage? Is it age? Wisdom? Power? Or all of the above? It's my belief that's it's all of the above and then some. Taking on the responsibility of helping another human being find their spiritual path and make decisions that can change a life is a daunting task and not one to be taken lightly. An Elder should never tell you what you should do, but tell you what you could do. An Elder is there to guide you, empower you and lift your spirits. An Elder is there to not only answer questions but to ask them. An Elder should never make you feel afraid or belittle you.
